Pricing Estimates

Pricing estimates are only for the items listed on the estimate and do not imply any accuracy for materials usage. We are not responsible for any overage or shortage in figuring the materials. The customer should verify all specifications before ordering. Errors in pricing extensions will be corrected. Prices are good for 30 days unless stated to the contrary.

Special Orders

Non-stock special orders require a minimum of 50% down payment and the unpaid balance is due upon receipt of material. Because of limited storage space, Metal Depot will store special orders for a maximum of 30 days. Any special orders not picked up in 30 days will be sold and deposit forfeited and/or a restocking charge will be imposed.

Return Merchandise

Any returned stock merchandise must be in clean, original condition, available for resale, and accompanied by an original sales receipt. Store Managers will determine if the merchandise is in returnable condition and if a restocking charge will be imposed. Absolutely neither special orders nor special order trim can be returned for credit. A special order is any merchandise that is not a regular stock item in inventory at any Metal Depot store. Merchandise cannot be returned after 90 days.

Warranties

All panels with a warranty come with a 20, 25 or 30 year limited warranty. Proper storage, handling and installation procedures must be followed. Failure to do so may void any warranty. No-warranty panels are sold as is without any implication of a warranty.

Metal Depot is primarily a cash-and-carry business although we do accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards. Personalized checks, with proper identification, will be accepted by established customers. No two party or temporary checks will be accepted. Returned checks are subject to a $25 fee. Commercial credit account applications are available from any member of the sales personnel.

Telephone Orders

Material Loading

As a courtesy to our customers, Metal Depot will load material on vehicles for customers’ pickup at the store. We are in no way responsible for the road worthiness of our customer’s vehicles or trailers. The safe transportation of the material is the responsibility of the customer. Customers should supply necessary tie down materials as we do not tie down loads.

Protecting Material after Delivery

Every precaution is taken by Metal Depot to deliver merchandise to customers in prime condition. Should any damage occur during the delivery process, customers should notify the driver. Metal Depot will not be responsible for storing or handling damage to material after delivery, as this is the responsibility of the customer.

Cancellations

Cancellation of an order to be manufactured by Metal Depot after production has begun will be subject to restocking charges.

Plastic Film on Trim

All trim manufactured by Metal Depot has a clear plastic film attached to the trim to protect it. Before installing the trim, the film should be removed. Metal Depot will not be responsible for any discolored trim caused by lack of removal of the film.

Count Discrepancies

Metal Depot personnel make every effort to fill customer’s orders as accurately as possible. However, an occasional overage or shortage of merchandise could occur. This is possible on picked up merchandise as well as delivered merchandise. We encourage our customers to double check our counts to verify accuracy.
